Congratulations to Josh Anthony, named to the Class C All-tournament team at the conclusion of the State Tournament over the weekend.  As a draftee of the Winsted Wildcats, Josh turned in three great starts throughout the tournament, as well as a relief outing on short rest Sunday afternoon.  He was a key part of what was an impressive Wildcat run. Hats off to Josh and the Winsted Wildcats, way to represent the Crow!

Season ends in a 12 inning thriller...

Glencoe 3, Watertown 2 

Game 3 in Glencoe was both frustrating and exciting for the Red Devils.

The story of the day was the crafty Jesse Brokl, who threw ten gutsy innings to keep his team in the game.  He had some good defensive play behind him too...with an outfield assist and a diving catch from Joe Brandenburg, as well as multiple double plays turned by the infield.

Unfortunately, Watertown failed to capitalize on many scoring opportunities throughout the game, and their luck finally ran out when the Brewers strung together a few hits in the bottom of the 12th.
